With just 5(ish) weeks until graduation, I'm finally feeling like I can breathe again. Lucky for you, now you'll have something to read!
As you may have noticed, we took the blog private. I don't mind it being public, in fact I like it because it gives people the chance to anonymously read. The reason we changed is because we noticed we had some strange individuals starting to follow the blog. Also, this way, when I know who is reading, I can be even more open than before.
So, for those of you who aren't aware, we're expecting our second baby. The baby is due December 25, 2009. We're really excited about this wonderful surprise and have been receiving so much support and well wishers. Every now and then someone comes along with kind of a negative or bad attitude, but we're focusing on all good right now. I have come to realize that this special child is meant to be a part of our family. It's a feeling I didn't have with Atley until he was about a month old. It's a special blessing to know that, even though things are going to be tough, that the Lord has prepared us and is blessing us to know that we're doing what he wants us to do.
Ian has been very supportive, as usual. It reminds me how glad I am to be married to him. We visited the doctor for the first ultrasound about a month ago. Atley got to come along, but he was more interested in the nurses than the baby (they loved playing with him.) This week we were able to visit the doctor again and hear the baby's beautiful little heart beat. It measured at 150 (for those of you who believe the heart rate gender correlation, it means it's another boy). Also, we received the results of our labs. The Doctor had to run deliver a baby, but before he left he asked the nurses to tell us that everything looked great. On friday, I'll be 13 weeks pregnant.
As for Mom, I've been feeling tired and a little sick. My teachers have been really understanding and I'm really grateful that school is almost over!
Speaking of which, here are some pictures so you can see what we've been busy with!

Atley is getting good at making all kinds of silly faces! We love taking pictures of them!

He's really excited for football season and Ian is getting him all ready, too!

Mealtimes are really fun because now he sits with us at the table. He's trying new foods all the time and there's almost nothing he doesn't like.

This was just funny :-)

Ian decided we needed a new family picture. We'll get better ones soon, but this is us in front of the Rexburg Temple.

For Memorial Day weekend, Amy, Austin, Cadence, and Grandma Almeda came to visit. It was really great to see them. For more pictures you can check out Amy's blog at www.asmithfam.blogspot.com

I think the sun is making his hair turn blond.

We love to watch Taran play frisbee. He competes on a team on campus. Ian took these pictures just last Saturday.
Well, that's all for now. Be looking back soon for an update with videos!
