Best Uncle Ever!

So, Ian was just kind of thrown into being an uncle when we got married. He'd never been an Uncle before and for that matter, not really around kids much either and all of a sudden here he is with a nephew and a niece (not to mention the other nephew on the way).

The good news is that I've spotted some talents in Ian that he's always had and put them to use making him the BEST UNCLE EVER!

He's been working the past few days on a birthday card for our sweet nephew Michael who's going to be 3 years old. Take a look and see what you think.

Our New Apartment

Check out our new apartment!

We had a really good time moving in, and had a lot of help. The living room, bathroom, and the kitchen were the rooms that we put in order first. The bedrooms are still in boxes, but we are working on it. We are really pleased with it and look forward to living here for a while. We both felt like this was really our own home. The other house that we lived in just felt like we were house sitting (we were house sitting), so we really enjoy this place because it is ours.
